HGV Class 2 Driver
Do you want to be back in time for dinner every night and be at home on the weekend? That’s exactly what our HGV Drivers get to do every week! We like to provide our employees with more sociable shifts so they can have that work / life balance.
We are looking for Class 2 HGV Drivers wanting to drive their career forward with us at our Grangemouth Depot.
What’s in it for you?
Around £13 per hour for no more than 40 hours per week, paid as a Salary of £27,000 so your monthly pay never changes!
• Very low average hours, less than 40 on a 17 week period

What will you be doing?
You will be the face of Meyer Timber, responsible for safely delivering our timber products in all areas of Scotland providing great customer service in line with our Good Driver Code!
Our trucks are readily loaded by our Warehouse Team so you can secure the load, complete your checks and head out for the day.
• Start times range between 5:00am – 6:00am
• Multi drop
• Curtain pulling and securing the load
• Checking paperwork on products
• Customer interaction
• Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
This role may include manual handling of our products from time to time; you must be comfortable doing so in the correct manner.
Bonus opportunities for the occasional pre agreed night out!
Am I right for the job?
• 2 or more years of 26 tonne driving experience
• Class 2 licence with no previous disqualifications
• Fully CPC qualified
• Multi drop experience would be advantageous but not essential
