HGV Class One Driver - Tramping - Minimum 2 Years Experience Required - Derby
Perm OTE: Up to £54,000
Ongoing Agency Rate: £182.50 per day PAYE
European Driving Experience Advantageous But Not Essential.
Applicants with Left-hand drive experience beneficial however not essential as Right-hand drive is also available.
Silver Arrow, recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist logistics provider for experienced and skilled drivers to drive low loaders and step frame trailers in the UK and UK to Europe
The role involves working at height, manually handling ramps, loading of machinery and sometimes complex and difficult machinery.
Your Shift
• This is a Monday to Friday European tramping role (UK, UK- Europe) with normally 4 nights out and the occasional weekend away. Allowances and pay rates to cover such occasions.
Your Role
• Transporting agricultural & plant machinery around the UK and/or Europe using premium trailers and high spec tractor units.
• Product loading and restraint.
• Completion of product inspection at collection and delivery.
• Customs and Boarder paperwork.
• Options on Right and Left-hand driven vehicles. (Training can be provided for the above)

What We Need From You
• HGV Class One licence
• HGV Class One Experience required: 2 years' experience
• Current competency in agricultural/plant machinery transportation
• Current competency in UK-EU customs formalities, paperwork, permits and border security
• Current competency in convoi exceptionnel
• In Date CPC & Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 points, no IN, DD or DR penalty codes.
• A good level of physical fitness. The job is exerting and involves working at height.
• Daily rate of £135, £26.20 per night out, £5 meal allowance. Weekend night out paid at £62.60
• Agency daily rate of £151.30, £26.20 per night out, £5 meal allowance
