Main purpose of Job
Aggregates deliveries and collections allocated by Logistics Office team in safe and efficient manner. Adhere to Company Driver Handbook, Policies and Procedures.
Key responsibilities:
• The completion of daily vehicle checks and correct defect reporting, to ensure we always remain legal and compliant
• Good understanding and knowledge of Tachograph rules and regulations
• Ensuring safe and timely deliveries to our customers
• Be a good ambassador for the Company both on the road and on site
• Bulk tipping and aggregates deliveries
Person specification and required skills:
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Hold C Licence
• Tipping experience is preferrable, but not essential
• Reliable, able to prioritise workload
• Have methodical approach
• A professional, positive and flexible attitude at all times
• This role requires the use of a tablet to complete daily walk round submissions and other associated software to complete deliveries.
Working times/hours: 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday between the hours of 0600-1800, 0600-1200 on alternate Saturdays.
Benefits after a successful probationary period will include: an employer pension contribution of +%, recruitment referral bonus, ‘Death in Service’ benefit. 2+ days paid leave, including 8 Bank Holidays. You will also be entitled to 4 Saturday holidays per year. You may also be entitled to discretionary annual summer and Christmas bonuses.
