Class 1 HGV Driver Required – Mark McCrabbe Haulage Ltd
Mark McCrabbe Haulage Ltd is seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 HGV driver to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a driver who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and maintains high standards of vehicle care and paperwork.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods, ensuring deliveries are completed on time while adhering to all road safety regulations and company procedures. You will be working on a one lorry one trailer basis, with the truck based from our own yard at Victoria Bridge.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and professionally
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Secure loads correctly to ensure safe transit
Complete all paperwork accurately and to a high standard
Communicate clearly with the team regarding schedules or issues
Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times
Represent the company positively while on the road
Role Details & Benefits
Monday to Friday work
Working all over the North and South of Ireland
1–2 nights out per week
One lorry, one trailer basis
Truck based from our own yard (Victoria Bridge)
Paid weekly with an excellent, highly competitive pay package

Requirements
HGV class 1 lorry driver aged 25+ with 2 years experience but may consider under 25’s with a minimum of 2 years experience
Must have CPC’s up to date
Clean and tidy approach to work
Ability to work well as part of a team
Strong attention to detail, particularly with paperwork
Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism
Excellent pay package available for the right man or woman
