Morgan Hunt is currently seeking HGV Drivers for an ongoing contract based in Perth. This position is based around the Perthshire area. No training is necessary as full training will be provided.
I also have other HGV roles in Fort William, Inverness, Perth, Killin, Edinburgh, Moray and the Highlands areas without accommodation.
To Be Successful For This Role
• You will be required to have a HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and Taco Digi Card.
• Be able to pass random Drug and ******* Tests
These contracts will be long term for a minimum of 5 months with an immediate start date. There could be the opportunity for a permanent job at the end of the season for the right person.
Your role will be expected to do HGV Driving of a class 2 vehicle for winter maintenance work. The operatives generally work on a rota basis, you will be undertaking a variety of road maintenance tasks as well as driving gritters.
• Hourly rate of 17.52 per hour
• Overtime will be paid after 40 hours at an enhanced rate - 26.28 per hour (Time and Half)
• Night shift is paid at x 1.3 for the first 40hrs and 1.8 for anything over 40hrs
• Standbys are also set depending on your working pattern.
• Full week - 110
There is a great opportunity to earn overtime and decent standby payments.
Overtime is all dictated by the weather.
