We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our client's maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance.
Duties
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before failure occurs.
Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years experience as a HGV mechanic or in a similar technical role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
Must have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
Applicants must have right to work in the UK. Overseas applicants must have a valid UKVI IELTS.
Pay: £39,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
