Tyrefix UK is the leading service provider of tyre repairs and replacements to the off-highway market. With over 140 fleet vehicles nationwide, we pride ourselves on delivering an unmatched national breakdown service where our customers come first.
As our fleet continues to grow, we’re now looking for an experienced Level 2 Fleet Mechanic to support the maintenance of our vans, company vehicles, and HGVs. This role will be based out of Bicester, with regular travel across the UK to support our mobile fitting fleet.
What’s in it for you?
• £15 – £18 per hour
• 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:00am – 4:30pm)
• Overtime available - OTE of up to £45,000 per annum
• 22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
• Company vehicle provided for use during working hours
What You’ll Be Doing
• Carrying out preventative maintenance inspections and roadworthiness checks
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on LCVs and HGVs
• Replacing wear-and-tear components (e.g. brakes, clutches, lights)
• Supporting fleet rotation and vehicle exchanges across the UK
• Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of all fleet vehicles
• Ensuring workshop tools and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained
What We’re Looking For
• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge of LCV servicing and repairs
• Experience with HGV maintenance is a bonus
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred)
• A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to travel and support our fleet nationwide
