HGV Truck Mechanics and HGV Trailer Mechanics - Permanent Position
Great opportunity and excellent rates of pay - £30k to £50k OTE depending on experience, and weekly pay is an option.

Brief overview of the role:
We are seeking a confident and professional HGV Truck Mechanics and HGV Trailer Mechanics to join our Workshop Team. They will be integrated into a busy garage and will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnostics and repair work on customer's HGV vehicles, alongside our own fleet.
This position attracts excellent rates of pay - £30k to £50k OTE depending on experience, and weekly pay is an option.
The overall purpose of this role is to repair and maintain HGV vehicles. Key job areas are PMIs, MOT preparation and diagnostics.
Key responsibilities include:
Inspections, services, MOTs and repairs
Diagnose faults accurately and take corrective action
Attending internal site breakdowns and repairs at customer sites
Work efficiently, promptly and responsibly and work well within a team
Ensure all correct paperwork is completed and accurate records maintained
Work in line with health & safety and company policy
What we are looking for:
HGV Technical Level 3 qualification and / or previous experience of working on HGVs within a commercial vehicle workshop
Knowledge of vehicle inspection standards and scheduled maintenance requirements
Can work in a team and solve problems effectively
Able to demonstrate initiative and work unsupervised
Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
Full clean driving license - LGV/HGV/PCV license would be an advantage
Available for overtime
Good verbal communication skills
Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirement
