Role Description - Teachers
This is a part-time remote/hybrid role for English and Maths teachers for an international skill development and competition for students from Grades 6 - 12. This project is managed exclusively by iQuery Australia in India and Sri Lanka.
The Teacher will be responsible for teaching an international curriculum provided to prepare students for the online world competition and potentially for the global finals in the UK or USA.
The other responsibilities include:
1. Supporting initiatives in reaching out to parents and students who are keen to improve their English and Math skills
2. Providing preliminary career education to students as appropriate.
3. Establishing English and Math clubs at partner educational institutions.
4. Effectively communicating with students and colleagues and adapting educational materials to suit diverse learning needs.
Qualifications
- Skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching
- Experience in Education and Training
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in virtual or remote teaching environments is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in education, a related field, or relevant teaching certification
