Job Description
Indira Priyadarshini School (JP Nagar) is looking for an experienced Physics and Maths teacher for our High School (+th and 10th Standard) (SSLC).
Candidate should have a minimum qualification of BSc - Science (Physics/Maths), with B.Ed Science. MSc is strongly desired.
The selected candidate will have to take regular and special/remedial classes for +th and 10th Std, and 8th standard as required. He/she will have to conduct regular formative and summative assessments.
The following skills/experience are required:
1. Strong subject knowledge.
2. Should ideally be able to teach Physics, Chemistry and Maths. At the minimum, ability to teach Physics and Maths is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching SSLC 10th Standard, with proven track record of successful/high-scoring students.
4. Proven track record of strong pedagogical practices, lesson planning, higher order assessment and inquiry based teaching.
4. Experience in setting question papers is required.
Retired teachers can apply - maximum age 65.
Responsibilities will include all responsibilities of a teacher, including teaching, invigilation, supporting the School in events and other school-related activities.
