Job Description: Higher Secondary Commerce Teacher

Position: Higher Secondary Commerce Teacher

Location: Green Lawns High School, Ahmedabad

Subjects to Teach: Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and related Commerce subjects

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Commerce subjects for Grades 11 and 12, following the prescribed syllabus.

Prepare students for board examinations by conducting regular assessments and providing constructive feedback.

Maintain updated knowledge of curriculum standards and teaching methodologies.

Foster a positive and interactive learning environment to encourage critical thinking and practical application of concepts.

Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary teaching and participate in school activities and events.

Maintain records of student performance and communicate progress to parents as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce or related field with B.Ed. qualification (mandatory).

Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with Gujarat State Board curriculum.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
