Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Ensure security and data protection in applications and APIs.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend and API development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Advanced Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA).
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficient with JSON, XML, and API tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Version control using Git.
• Basic understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker is a plus).
• Exposure to message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ is an added advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.Desirable skills and qualifications include:
• Oracle Certified Java Programmer.
• Spring Professional Certification.
• Any relevant API development certifications.
