Job Title: Hindi Script Writer
Experience – 5+ years
Location – Gurgaon
Job Summary:
We are a young and dynamic tech startup with the aim to drive transformational social change at scale in the Blue-Collar universe of over 1 billion workers across South Asia through Skilling, Job Creation, Career Growth, Social Platforms, and Financial Inclusion.
We are seeking a skilled and creative Script Writer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in writing scripts for television serials and OTT series. The Script Writer will be responsible for developing compelling and engaging storylines, writing scripts, and collaborating with the production team to bring the vision to life on screen.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop original and innovative script concepts for daily soap operas and web series, ensuring alignment with the target audience and project objectives.
Write engaging scripts in Hindi that incorporate compelling dialogue, captivating storylines, and well-developed characters.
Must have experience of Screenplay.
Write scripts that adhere to the project's genre, format, and target audience.
Collaborate with the production team, including directors and producers, to ensure the script aligns with the overall vision.
Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information and ensure accuracy in storytelling.
Craft well-structured scripts with attention to character development, dialogue, pacing, and plot progression.
Collaborate with other writers, as necessary, to refine scripts and ensure consistency.
Incorporate feedback from the production team and make necessary revisions to scripts.
Stay updated on industry trends, audience preferences, and emerging storytelling techniques.
Meet project deadlines and work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
Maintain open communication and collaborate closely with the production team throughout the script development process.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Hindi Script Writer, specifically in daily soap operas for Doordarshan and web series
Strong understanding of Hindi language, grammar, and nuances of storytelling in the Indian context.
Proficiency in developing compelling narratives that engage and captivate audiences.
Excellent command of the English language with exceptional grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
Ability to adapt writing style and tone to suit different genres and target demographics.
Familiarity with industry-standard scriptwriting software and formatting guidelines.
Strong research skills to gather accurate information for script development.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and incorporate feedback.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
Knowledge of the television and OTT industry, including current trends and audience preferences.
