Job Description
Responsibilities: • Provide Application Production Support to users and assist Application development L3 Team on problem investigation and analysis. • Coordinate with different groups and ensure effective application services to ensure achieve reliability of applications. • Coordinate with various teams and raise support ticket for all issues, analyse root cause and assist in efficient resolution of all production processes. • Monitor alerts and escalate all issues for procedures and systems. • Provide 24×7 operational support to production practices on holidays and weekends. • Develop and maintain professional relationships with online business teams and IT groups to provide support. • Greet customers pleasantly and ensure compliance to customer requirements. • Maintain logs of all issues in logging Systems and ensure resolutions according to quality assurance tests for production processes. • Conduct daily routine Production beginning of day Health Check prior to the start of day for each application systems. • Perform Patch testing and health check on application system, limiting to sanity test. • Support application deployments in UAT and Production. • Have a sound technical understanding on system platforms e.g. UNIX / Windows / Oracle and able to provide support during investigation. Preferred Skills: • Possesses system support or development experience with knowledge on the following will be an advantage: o Technical knowledge J2EE / VB, Oracle, SQL, Unix/Linux/Windows, Web application development, IBM MQ o 3 tier application architecture & n- tier application architecture • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Good inter-personnel and communication skills across a wide range of people • Experience in system development, integration and implementation • Experienced in working with different teams on medium to complex regional channel systems will be an advantage. • Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player Education level: Bachelor degree in Computing or relevant field Experience: Total of 4-7 years of experience for Engg / 7+ years of experience for Sr. Engg
