Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on all relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices applicable operations. Assess the impact of regulatory changes and develop strategies to ensure compliance with them. Compliance Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to meet regulatory requirements and mitigate risks. Regularly review and update these programs to address any changes in the regulatory landscape. Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely regulatory reports to the appropriate regulatory bodies as required by applicable laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with reporting obligations, including periodic filings, disclosures, and compliance certificates. Internal Compliance Audits: Conduct periodic internal compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, identify compliance gaps, and recommend remedial actions. Collaborate with internal audit teams to coordinate audits and ensure timely completion of audit processes. Compliance Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Promote a culture of compliance awareness throughout the organization by conducting regular awareness campaigns and communication initiatives.
