Job Summary –
This role is for Movement Planner Service Design product development as part of Network Optimization
in company's Digital Electronics. Person in this role is responsible for designing and programming a small
module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area. Candidate
should be able to work independently and contribute to the immediate team and teams across the
business. You will build simple solutions to complex problems, with a large number of variables and
scenarios considered and optimized in a small amount of time in an agile framework. Candidate should
have strong hands-on technical skills in full stack development using Java/J2EE & microservice backend
development and Angular 11 frontend. Docker, containerization, AWS knowledge will be an added
advantage for the selection of the candidate. Candidate should have good communication skills, working
knowledge in agile scrum and work with local and global scrum team consisting of developer, tester, PO,
tech lead, SME. Candidate should be self-motivated, problem solver, focus on quality and delivery and
interested to learn new technologies and skills as required in the project execution. This role will be
based out of Bangalore office and will be reporting to the Sr. Manager of Engineering.
Job Description / Essential Responsibilities –
1. Strong hands-on experience in front end development and technologies – Angular11 and above,
javascript, typescript, html5, Websocket, React js (desirable)
2. Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE & microservice backend development
3. Strong full stack development experience following agile scrum framework
4. Knowledgeable in docker, containerization, cloud and willing to scale up in these areas
5. Expert in breaking down stories and estimate effort for development tasks
6. CI/CD, Jenkins, security tools knowledge and working experience from development standpoint
7. Quality, cyber security and best practices focused in development
8. Work on Features/US/Defects as prioritized during sprints and PI plan.
+. Owns work and collaborate with team in India and US to deliver the business outcomes
10. Able to lead technically a small team of developers and testers and work closely with product
team
11. Participate in production support hyper care/on call support
12. Follow coding best practices to deliver high-quality deliverables in a timely manner
13. Work in a scrum team of developers/QA/PO/SM/TL
14. Collaborate with developers, product team, SMEs in US and Australia scrum teams
15. Make efforts to meet delivery timelines and sprint and PI objectives and willing to stretch as
required
16. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
17. Contribute during scrum ceremonies, independently owns work and tasks and shows high
accountability to deliver on time
18. Willing to explore technologies/new areas as may be required to deliver certain work/US/Defect

20. Understands whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an
expert in the assigned component or module.
21. Helps in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules. Serves as subject
matter expert (SME) on one or more major modules.
22. Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem
definitions.
23. Experience in processes / methodologies and Skilled in build, release & deployment processes.
24. Understands the importance of improving quality through testing
25. Drives design reviews, defines interfaces between code modules, and applies existing
technology to designs.
26. Expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and
best coding practices.
27. Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solve problems
and achieve right business outcomes
28. Contribute to peer reviews with the intent of strengthening the quality of software.

31. Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to maximize the value provided to
customers with every release.
32. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product
Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
33. Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology
selected for the project. Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products
34. Ability to document system designs clearly and concisely.
35. Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
36. Ability to takes ownership of small and medium d tasks and deliver while mentoring and
helping team members
37. Experience leading software development for new product introductions
Education, Job Qualification and Skill Requirements –
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in 'STEM' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering
and Math)
2. 5 - 8 years of overall professional experience in software development
3. 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience in front end development and technologies - Angular11 &
above, React js (desirable), javascript, typescript, html5, Websocket, PolymerJS
4. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE & microservice backend development
5. Cloud/AWS exposure and experience with docker, containerization, Kubernetes is desirable
6. Demonstrated problem solving ability
7. Self-driven, quick learner, results-oriented, and a clear focus on high quality
8. Experience in AGILE Software development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
+. Proactive, self-starter and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
10. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire
partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
11. Have experience working with global teams, work with agile development and test team

13. Able to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications. Continuously reflecting
on success and failures to improve performance and decision-making
14. Experience triaging problems with sense of urgency.
15. Must be a good team player and strong interpersonal skills to work in a scrum team of
developers, testers and leads.
