Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Team Lead to join our dedicated remote team. This role is pivotal in managing daily operations and providing essential coaching for our staff engaged in Benefit Verifications within a specific Micro-Hub. You will work closely with the Supervisor and Area Director or Manager to ensure that productivity goals are met, customer service standards are maintained, and quality control measures are effectively implemented across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Offer daily guidance to team members on processing Benefit Investigations.
• Provide coaching and support for issue resolution to guarantee successful benefit investigation outcomes.
• Oversee the performance of seasonal employees to ensure alignment with client service level requirements.
• Monitor daily team production to meet established performance standards and quality control metrics.
• Collaborate with the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager to facilitate training initiatives for Reimbursement Specialists, assisting them in achieving performance benchmarks.
• Escalate issues to the Supervisor as necessary, adhering to established procedures.
• Assist in the creation of training materials for the program.
• Foster open communication with team members to cultivate a collaborative work environment.
• Identify potential program challenges and propose solutions to the Supervisor.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Execute additional related duties as assigned.
Required Skills

Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, physician's office, or healthcare environment (insurance background preferred).
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Desirable experience in processing benefit investigations within a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience managing a remote team is a plus.
