Role & responsibilities
The Senior MIS Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and templates for various business functions. The role requires collection, consolidation, and analysis of data from multiple sources, and transforming it into actionable insights for decision-makers. The individual must have strong technical expertise in Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, and basic Power BI, along with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Dashboarding
• Prepare interactive dashboards, performance reports, and trackers using advanced Excel functionalities and Power BI.
• Create and maintain Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly dashboards and business review reports.
• Develop visual-rich PowerPoint presentations for Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Business Reviews and leadership reporting.
• Publish Production & Quality Reports across Domestic and Global teams, ensuring timely and error-free distribution.
Automation & Template Development
• Create and customize reporting templates and Audit Tools.
• Develop semi-automated templates and macros using VBA to improve process efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Maintain and update templates across fiscal years and process updates.
SharePoint & Data Management
• Create and manage SharePoint sites for secure and structured access to templates & reports.
• Collect, store, and manage data from various sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Ad-hoc & Client-Focused Reporting
• Handle ad-hoc reporting requests, consistently delivering within deadlines.
• Tailor solutions and reporting to client-specific requirements and KPIs, including SLA adherence.
• Customize Daily Production Trackers, Global Production Reports, and QA dashboards based on leadership or client feedback.
Collaboration & Training
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Provide Excel training to leadership and internal teams to enhance operational proficiency if required.
Collaborate with process teams to create innovative layouts and tools that drive data visibility and decision-making.
