Responsibility
• Install and configure database servers
• Develop database utilities and automated reporting
• Create shell scripts for task automation
• Analyze and tune database for optimal efficiency
• Restore and recover corrupted databases
• Install and test upgrades and patches
• Provide 24/7 support for critical situations
• Evaluate and recommend new database technologies
• Evaluate and provide implementation guidelines for database replication and redundancy
Skills & Experience requirements:
• MySQL and Oracle Database Administration
• Installation, Performance Optimization, Backup & Recovery of Databases
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL
• Working knowledge of Unix (Solaris preferred)
• Proficient with Golden Gate
• Proficient with data modeling
• Data Guard and DB Visit skills in desirable
• Problem solving
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
Schedule:
• Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
• Mysql dba: 5 years (Preferred)
• oracle dba: 4 years (Preferred)
