We are seeking a History & Social Studies teacher who will bring with them fresh ideas and add value to our well-resourced and successful Learning Area.
The successful applicant will:
Be passionate about teaching and learning and serving the needs of our diverse community
Practise culturally responsive pedagogy and develop meaningful relations with students that them to drive their own learning
Have experience in leading digital inquiry learning which includes local context at junior level Social Studies
Be committed to the school’s restorative and culturally sustaining practices
For overseas teachers looking to relocate to New Zealand to teach, the terms and conditions including base salary for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $59,305 to $95,400 depending on applicants qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
