The Role Responsibilities
Job Role
Lead the platform and product engineering team to design, build, and operate the various computing platforms including container platform, AI/ML model development, deployment & monitoring platform, and graph database engine for FCSO Technology Team. Product engineering team will also be tasked to build software product for FCSO’s use cases with latest and greatest technology stack and methodology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of platform engineers and DevOps engineers to design, build, and operate the various computing platforms including container platform, AI/ML model development, deployment & monitoring platform, and graph database engine for FCSO Technology Team.
Lead a team of software engineers to build software product for FCSO’s use cases with latest and greatest technology stack and methodology.
Strategy
Drive overall delivery strategy for FCSO Platform Engineering Team.
Influence the business solutions and responsible for stakeholders’ management.
Implement agile product development that includes ideation, user journey discovery and prioritising initiatives with business benefits.
Lead, implement and manage WoW processes around refinement forums, monthly performance review, quarterly performance review, etc.
The candidate should work closely with business units, and other IT resources in all stages of project life cycle, including investigation, analysis, design, testing, and implementations to ensure business requirements are successfully implemented.
This individual should demonstrate the highest levels of customer service, technical knowledge, productivity, and professionalism.
Responsible for partnering with business / user group representatives to understand business processes and underlying informational and / or process automation needs, then translating those needs into formal, documented business requirements following methodologies and processes.
As a senior member of the team is also responsible to see the opportunity for improvement areas and induce efficiency in the overall delivery process.
Collaborate with other Hive leads, design and development teams through-out to ensure smooth transition of requirements and quality delivery.
Business
Engage with Business to understand user journeys and assist in deriving domain-driven solution.
Engage with Technical Application Team to provide architecture design and provide guidance on implementation.
Engage with enterprise and information and software architects to confirm solutions are consistent with the long-term architecture, roadmap, and information principles where necessary.
Processes
Strong experience in agile methodologies and test-driven development.
Experience in software development using open-source technologies.
Knowledge in domain-driven design, design patterns and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience in automated software testing.

Extensive experience in AML domain Transaction Monitoring / Case Management, Screening, etc.

Strong communication skills - oral, written and presentation to explain complex or technical issues for a broad audience.

The ability to interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
Help Tribe lead to be risk control owner under the Group’s Risk Management Framework (including relevant Operational Risk Framework).

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
15 years of software engineering experience.
Must be hands-on software design and development and DevOps.
