Full job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for officiating Adult and/or Youth Recreational Hockey League Games. Candidate shall have certification as a USA Hockey Official at Levels 1, 2, 3 or above.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Communicate and enforce all applicable USA Hockey Standards and City of Glenwood Springs ice hockey rules clearly and calmly.

Ensure safety of players and fans; report any and all disturbances to Ice Rink Supervisor and Ice Rink/Program Coordinator; responsible for reporting any damage to facility by participants.

Must be able to attend monthly staff meeting, provide feedback to the supervisor or coordinator on strong points and opportunities for improvement; provide feedback to coaches and players during games; resolve coach issues and complaints.
