Job Description: Holiday Executive (International and Domestic)

Position Overview:

The Holiday Executive is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable travel experiences for clients seeking international and domestic holiday destinations. As a Holiday Executive, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of travel planning, including itinerary creation, ticketing, accommodation bookings, and recommending tourist attractions and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Interact with clients, both in-person and through various communication channels, to understand their holiday preferences, budget, and requirements.

Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering personalized holiday recommendations.

Travel Planning:

Conduct thorough research on international and domestic travel destinations, including attractions, accommodations, transportation options, and local customs.

Create detailed travel itineraries tailored to each client's preferences, considering factors such as budget, duration of stay, and specific interests.

Arrange and book flights, hotels, car rentals, transfers, and other travel-related services, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmation.

Product Knowledge:

Stay up to date with the latest travel trends, emerging destinations, and industry developments to provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of various travel products, including tour packages, cruises, adventure trips, and cultural experiences, to offer diverse holiday options to clients.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services, such as travel insurance, guided tours, or special experiences, to enhance clients' holiday experiences.

Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting holiday packages and additional services to clients.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Documentation and Administrative Tasks:

Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all travel-related arrangements, including itineraries, invoices, and client information.

Process payments, issue receipts, and handle financial transactions securely and efficiently.

Maintain records of client interactions, preferences, and feedback to enhance future service and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a travel agency or tour operator setting.

Excellent knowledge of popular international and domestic travel destinations, including tourist attractions, local cultures, and transportation options.

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide personalized recommendations.

Proficiency in travel booking systems and software.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in multiple languages being a plus.

Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle client issues and complaints professionally.

Flexibility to work during weekends, public holidays, and peak travel seasons as required.
