Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile MLH Technician to join our renovation team as a subcontractor on a project-by-project, quoted on fixed cost basis. This role is ideal for a “Jack of all trades, master of most,” with hands-on experience in demolition, framing, drywall, millwork, painting and basic experience in tiling, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. You will take a lead role in delivering each project safely, efficiently, and with exceptional craftsmanship—directly contributing to My Lifetime Home’s mission of creating accessible, beautiful residences that reflect our clients’ vision and stand the test of time.

Key Responsibilities
Construction & Trade Execution
Perform tile installations including floors, backsplashes, showers, and decorative accents
Handle basic plumbing tasks, HVAC maintenance/installation, and minor electrical work
Install, repair, and finish drywall, including texturing and painting
Install blinds, light fixtures, doors, cabinets, and countertops, performing caulking and grouting as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications to ensure precise project execution
Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide practical solutions to maintain timelines and quality
Maintain exterior grounds, including debris removal, sweeping walkways, and snow removal/salting
Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
Project Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with Site Supervisors, Sales, Designers, Contractors, and other tradespeople for seamless workflow
Communicate progress updates, material needs, and challenges clearly
Ensure attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship in all tasks
Safety & Site Maintenance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
Properly store and maintain tools, equipment, and materials
Continuous Improvement & Skills Development
Stay current with new techniques, tools, and trade practices
Suggest improvements to workflow, efficiency, and quality
Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and high-performance team culture
Qualifications
Experience & Education
Minimum 2–3 years of construction or multi-trade experience (required)
Ability to perform hands-on work across tile, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, painting, and cabinetry
Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical specifications
