About Us:
D & J Estate Pty Ltd is an agribusiness and labour hire provider specialising in workforce solutions for the horticulture and viticulture industries across South Australia.
The Company partners with vineyard operators, farmers, and agricultural enterprises to deliver labour services across activities including pruning, harvesting, crop maintenance, and general farm operations. Workforce teams are deployed across multiple vineyard and horticultural sites throughout South Australia to meet ongoing operational and seasonal demands.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Horticultural Supervisor to oversee horticultural workforce operations across multiple sites, including fruit and crop production environments.
The position plays a key role in supporting workforce operations and ensuring efficient delivery of services across multiple client sites.
This role is responsible for supervising workers, coordinating daily activities, and supporting productivity and quality outcomes across multiple locations.
The role requires regular travel across multiple vineyard and horticultural sites within South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise horticultural workers across multiple sites
· Coordinate tasks including planting, harvesting, packing, and crop maintenance
· Monitor productivity and work quality
· Allocate tasks and coordinate daily workforce activities
· Support implementation of operational plans and work schedules
· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) and operational requirements
Requirements:
· At least 2 years of experience in horticultural, vineyard or agricultural operations
· Demonstrated experience supervising or coordinating workforce teams in labour-intensive environments
· Practical knowledge of crop production and horticultural processes
· Strong organisational and communication skills
· Ability to work across multiple sites and coordinate workforce activities
· Ability and willingness to travel regularly to multiple sites across South Australia
