Full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, based in the heart of Wellington CBD.
Parliamentary Service is inviting applications for a Hospitality Crew Member | Kaimahi Ratonga Wahainu to become part of our team!
Step into the Parliamentary Catering Team and help deliver outstanding hospitality experiences within New Zealand’s iconic Parliament precinct. We’re looking for a dependable, customer-focused Hospitality Crew Member to provide trolley service throughout functions, meetings, and Select Committee sessions during the day.

About the Role | Mō te tūnga:

Deliver trolley service on the move across various Parliament venues, supporting functions and meetings.
Enjoy a steady, physically active role where you’ll work independently and stay on the move all day.
Manage your own schedule to ensure catering arrives promptly and smoothly.
Offer courteous, attentive service, tailoring your communication to suit the occasion.
Occasionally support the wider catering team with function setup and pack-down.
This role is perfect for someone who values a clear, consistent routine and a balanced workload.
Our team proudly showcases New Zealand’s best produce and hospitality across several venues, including Copperfields café, Pickwick’s bar, and Bellamy’s restaurant, plus catering for a variety of Parliamentary functions.

What You’ll Bring | Tō kete:

Hospitality or events experience is a bonus but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work confidently on your own.
Experience delivering great customer service in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards and hygiene practices.
Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet all day-perfect if you love staying active!
A team player who can also thrive working independently.
