Job Description
Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld in accordance with New Zealand regulations.
Train, motivate, and support team members to deliver excellent customer service.
Oversee cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and end-of-day reconciliations.
Coordinate with security staff to ensure patron safety.
Report maintenance or operational issues to the venue manager promptly.
Requirements:
Must hold a LCQ (Licensed Controller Qualification, NZQA 4646 & 16705)
Must hold a Certificate of Achievement for ServeWise, New Zealand.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of liquor licensing laws and responsible service practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Proven ability to handle high-pressure environments and resolve conflicts.
Must be eligible to work in New Zealand or apply under the Accredited Employer Work Visa scheme.
