About the Business
Cadney Homestead Roadhouse is a well-known outback stop located on the Stuart Highway in South Australia. The roadhouse provides meals, refreshments, and accommodation services to travellers, tourists, and local workers. We are currently looking for reliable and motivated Hospitality Workers to join our team.
Position Overview
The Hospitality Worker will assist with a range of front-of-house and customer service duties to ensure guests receive a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly and efficient customer service to guests.
Take food and beverage orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
Serve meals, beverages, and takeaway items to customers.
Prepare basic food and beverage items such as coffee, snacks, and light meals where required.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations.
Clear tables, wash dishes, and assist with general cleaning duties.
Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
Assist with opening and closing procedures of the café or dining area.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve basic service issues when they arise.
Follow workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with receiving deliveries and organising stock where required.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential.
Friendly attitude with strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
Salary
Salary will be offered in line with relevant industry standards and based on experience.
