Host| event manager

Overview We are seeking a dynamic Event Manager to join our team and oversee the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality, restaurant, or guest services, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to attendees. Responsibilities - Plan, organise, and execute a wide range of events from start to finish - Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event operations - Implement strategies for upselling event services and packages - Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective planning - Oversee event logistics including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual requirements - Lead event staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality service - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event needs and preferences - Develop and implement fundraising initiatives for charity events Qualifications - Previous experience in event management within the hotel or hospitality industry is desirable - Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively - Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Outstanding communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members effectively - A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
