Summary of Position


As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining or entertainment experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
Greet guests promptly and courteously as they arrive.
Manage reservations and waitlists using a POS or booking system.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus or relevant information.
Maintain a clean and organized host station and entrance area.
Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient seating and service.
Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the venue.
Monitor guest flow and manage seating to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor concerns with professionalism.
Supervisory Responsibilities
There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

Previous experience in a host or customer service role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.
