Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team at Marmoris Beach Lounge, Mahabalipuram. The Hostess is responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming guests, and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience. The ideal candidate has a warm and welcoming personality, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival at the restaurant.
- ****** guests to their tables, ensuring they are seated comfortably and in a timely manner.
- Provide menus to guests and answer any initial questions regarding the menu or restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and organized hostess station, including managing reservations and waiting lists.
- Coordinate with servers and management to ensure a smooth flow of guest seating and service.
- Monitor and manage table rotation to accommodate both reservations and walk-in guests.
- Communicate with guests regarding wait times and keep them informed of any delays.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in setting up and organizing the dining area, including arranging tables and chairs as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate seating and efficient table turnover.
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu changes, and any promotional events.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return as they leave the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Familiarity with reservation manage
