We’re on the hunt for an experienced Reach Truck Operator to help keep our warehouse running at full speed this peak season. If you’ve got a current reach licence and can handle full pallets with skill and precision – we want you on our team!
At The Warehouse Group (TWG), we’re home to some of New Zealand’s most iconic brands – The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. Our Distribution Centre is one of the largest in the country, and during peak season, it’s go-time.
Job Description
You’ll be part of our Racking & Replenishment Team, making sure stock is exactly where it needs to be to keep orders flowing. From moving full pallets to replenishing pick faces, you’ll play a key part in keeping our supply chain moving.
What you’ll be doing:
Operating a
reach truck
to safely move and store full pallets
Replenishing pick faces with stock from bulk storage
Placing, retrieving, and relocating pallets within racking zones
Maintaining inventory accuracy using RF scanners
Working to daily targets while keeping safety top priority
Supporting your team to meet demand across the DC
This is a fixed term position until the mid January 2026.
Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:30pm
$30.28/hr
Please note: This role is to support our Peak Period through to January 2026. As it is our busiest time of the year, we are unlikely to be able to approve any extended leave across this time including around Christmas and New Years (Please note, we do not work public holidays).
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Current Reach Truck licence – essential
Experience operating MHE in a warehouse or DC environment
Confidence moving full pallets and working in racking zones
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Ability to work at pace and meet deadlines
Physically fit for hands-on work
Clear communicator and proactive team player
Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
Prior warehouse or DC experience
To be considered for this role, you must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
