Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position requires a strong understanding of the flat-bed sector of the trucking industry. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
Responsibilities
• Operate a Hotshot rig (Ram 2500 and 40' Gooseneck Trailer).
• Drive routes efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
• Utilize manual transmission when required for specific vehicle operations.
Skills
• Proficient in driving various types of trucks including flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Experience with route driving and understanding of freight logistics.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong skills in loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and dispatch personnel.
• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A) is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,000.00 - $+1,000.00 per year
