Job description
Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper
• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards (including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities)
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, and showers
• Replace linens and towels and report any damage or shortages
• Restock minibar and room supplies where applicable
• Report maintenance issues or lost items promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas (e.g., hallways, lifts, lobbies)
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This includes cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Responsibilities Include:
• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards
• Cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, and showers
• Replacing linens and towels and reporting any damage or shortages
• Restocking minibars and room supplies where applicable
• Reporting maintenance issues or lost items promptly
• Maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, including hallways, lifts, and lobbies
Requirements:
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential
• Attention to detail and time management skills are required
• The ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is necessary
