HOTEL DUTY MANAGER
About the role
As a Hotel Duty Manager at the WATERWORKS HOTEL in Botany NSW 201+, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operations of the hotel during your assigned shifts. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience throughout their stay.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the hotel.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
Monitor and maintain hotel security and safety protocols
Assist with the preparation of daily reports and other administrative tasks
Identify and resolve any operational issues that may arise during your shift
Collaborate with the management team to implement and improve hotel policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Hotel Duty Manager or Assistant Manager role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and staff
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a variety of situations
Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services
Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
