About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Engineer III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Hotel Engineer III, you will be responsible for providing exceptional maintenance services to our guests, including responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on various equipment.
This role requires advanced skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively resolve any maintenance issues with guests and team members.
Responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on various equipment.
Maintaining maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed.
Displaying solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
Ensuring all methods, materials, and practices meet company standards and Local and National codes.
Key Responsibilities
Performing advanced troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Communicating effectively with guests and team members to resolve any maintenance issues.
Displaying proficiency in at least three of the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management.
Requirements
Valid Driver's License
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
