Days Inn Penticton is looking for friendly, good custom service person to help our guests start their day off right by providing quality service. Those positions are perfect for students to make tuition fee during summer breaktimes.
To be successful as a Hotel Front Desk, you should keep in mind that guest is always right. Keeping smile, polite, welcome to guest is essence skill for a front desk. Sitting to greet guest doesn’t allow. Wear uniform and name tag when you start to work.
Hotel Front Desk Responsibilities:
Checking guests in and out.
Receiving and managing reservations made online and telephonically.
Verifying guests' payment methods during check-in.
Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any specials offered by the hotel.
· Provide guests with general information about the hotel and surrounding area, and stay up-to-date on attractions that may be of interest to guests.
· Positive to Help guests when they need.
· Room unsatisfied to guest, check it first and then solve the problem let them happy.
Check rooms ready for arriving.
Providing guests with information about the hotel.
Keep lobby and front desk nice tide and clean.
Prepare breakfast and pull out and distribute housekeeper assignment.
Room spot check
Folding laundry if need
Follow as different shift checklist.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers.
Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Remove and re-line trash cans, clean and wipe chairs, tables, beverage area, and the breakfast and condiment station.
Sweep, vacuum or mop floors in the breakfast area and lobby.
Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
