Role Overview
The Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne is a stunning grand heritage-listed hotel that has been beautifully refurbished and rebranded. The property boasts 340 guest rooms and 11 conference, wedding, and event spaces, including the recently renovated King Edward Ballroom. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Yarra River and is situated in the heart of the central business district, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive revenue growth.
Lead the implementation of the brand service strategy and initiatives to exceed guest expectations.
Provide strategic guidance to achieve sustained success and growth, while ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Key Requirements
A minimum of 5-7 years' experience as a Hotel General Manager, preferably in a complex CBD property with on-property F&B and C&E.
Proven track record in managing and driving sales and marketing teams, developing and delivering C&E strategies, and standalone F&B outlets.
Experience working in Melbourne (desirable) and a strong understanding of the local hospitality industry.
Demonstrated achievements in driving revenue growth, commercial acumen, and financial management.
An inspirational leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders.
