Job Description
Change linens, make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and replenish supplies to uphold cleanliness standards
Perform detailed floor care including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
Follow established health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for guests and staff
Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper maintenance
Support team members in maintaining overall cleanliness of the hotel premises during busy periods
Qualifications
Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and sanitation standards in hospitality settings
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and manual dexterity
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial practices is advantageous
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments demonstrates understanding of guest service expectations
Housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in supervisory roles
