Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential.
Accommodation can be given to the right candidate. Also taking on applicants who have Head Housekeeping skills
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries courteously.
Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
Occasionally assist in meal preparation or cooking when required.
Experience
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with cleaning products and their safe usage is beneficial.
Experience in customer service is an advantage, particularly in a hotel setting.
A background in commercial cleaning can be an asset.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
