Description
A hotel housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting. They play a critical role in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining the hotel's reputation for cleanliness and quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and prepare guest rooms for occupancy, including changing linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and restocking amenities.
• Clean and maintain common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and public restrooms.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, interacting with guests and coworkers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Salary: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per year
