This is a great way to gain an introduction to the hospitality industry and learn how hotels work.
We are currently ranked in the top 20 in cleanliness out of all IHG hotels in the United States.
Great environment and great place to work.
As a housekeeper you will be tasked with cleaning 10-15 rooms per day.
Each room usually takes us 35-40 minutes to clean.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces in the hotel - Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and making beds - Ensure all areas are well-stocked with supplies and amenities - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department - Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness - Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally - Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and confidentiality Skills:
- Entry level position available so we can train the right person.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
