What’s the Job?
As a Housekeeper, reporting to the Property Manager, you will ensure the overall cleanliness of the property to the highest level.
Your work will include:
Cleaning 15 rooms per day and may vary depending on occupancy.
Full housekeeping services in guest rooms and hallways.
Making the beds and changing linen.
Vacuuming and dusting.
Washing, scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms, windows and mirrors.
Emptying garbage.
Washing and folding towels, linens, and beddings.
Loading and unloading laundry, linen, and supplies.
Who are we looking for?
You have a minimum 6 months’ janitorial and/or housekeeping experience.
You have knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.
Ideally, you have related experience in hotel/institutional environment; commercial cleaning is considered an asset.
You have the ability and desire to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.
You are able to stand for a long period of time and lift up to 35 pounds
