Front Desk Associate Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Associate to join our housekeeping team. This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet and assist guests with their inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the reception and office spaces.
• Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned and prepared for guests, adhering to hotel standards and policies.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling room assignments and key distribution.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and fair manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Keep track of inventory for housekeeping supplies and report shortages to the management team.
• Assist in preparing reports on housekeeping activities and guest feedback, using data to inform operational decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Front Desk Associate or in a similar role for 3-8 years in the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software, with experience using point-of-sale systems and other technology tools.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
