Job Responsibilities
Maintaining the building's cleanliness and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
Stocking linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants.
Emptying room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
Cleaning and polishing corridor walls, doors, mirrors, and elevator doors.
Vacuuming, sweeping, and/or mopping hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
Flipping mattresses and moving furniture as assigned by supervisor.
Complying with attendance rules and being available to work on a regular basis.
Performing any other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Hotel experience is preferred.
A self-starting personality with an even disposition is required.
Maintaining a professional appearance and manner at all times is essential.
Effective communication with guests is necessary.
Teamwork and willingness to assist colleagues are key qualities.
The ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods is required.
Lifting may involve equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs.
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
