• General Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Inspect and repair various building systems to ensure optimal operation and safety.
• Preventative Maintenance:
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to extend the life of equipment and systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC units, water heaters, and other mechanical systems.
• Emergency Repairs:
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime and disruption to guests.
• Guest Room Maintenance:
• Address maintenance requests from guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Ensure guest rooms and common areas are in excellent condition by conducting regular inspections and repairs.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Maintain records of all maintenance work and ensure compliance with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain an inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Order and replenish maintenance supplies as needed.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with other departments to ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
• Communicate effectively with the management team about maintenance needs and progress.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
