Quest Apartment Hotels provide accommodation for corporate and leisure guests, and the Kelvin Grove location are looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to join our team.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of 1 year of full time experience as a Hotel Manager, as well as a Bachelor of Hospitality.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Oversee daily hotel operations, including revenue management, sales, front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Deliver excellent customer service, personally welcoming guests, handling inquiries, and resolving complaints.
Manage reservations, occupancy, and yield to optimize business performance.
Prepare and supervise staff rosters to align with operational needs and budget constraints.
Maintain IT systems and ensure proper functionality of administrative and reservation equipment.
Supervise and support staff, including training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Assist in business development by identifying potential clients and planning promotions.
Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and security procedures.
Provide reports for accounting and operational tracking.
Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.
We can offer a great team environment, where collaboration and flexibility are key. A salary of $75,000 per year plus superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
