About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Manager to oversee the daily operations of a combined motel, bar, and restaurant in Opotiki. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who can manage multiple hospitality functions while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the motel, bar, and restaurant
Ensure high standards of guest service across accommodation, food, and beverage areas
Manage bookings, reservations, and customer inquiries
Supervise, train, and roster staff across all departments
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory (including bar stock)
Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, and health & safety regulations
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Manage budgets, expenses, and daily financial reporting
Coordinate maintenance and ensure the premises are clean, safe, and well-presented
Minimum requirements:
2 years of work experience OR level 4 qualification.
