Position Overview
The Hotel Renovation Superintendent is responsible for managing all phases of hotel renovation projects. This includes coordinating and supervising all subcontractors, managing the project timeline, and ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget. The Renovation Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel and quality of work.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and monitor renovation project budgets, timelines, and work plans.
• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the project with subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors.
• Ensure quality of work and safety of personnel at all times.
• Ensure that project scope and design are maintained throughout the project.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
• Communicate project status to management.
• Manage project closeout activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Construction Science/Management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry with supervisory experience.
• Experience in hotel and/or multi-family renovation projects.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
