Accor Hotels is seeking an experienced Hotel Sales Director to join our team in Hobart, Australia. Reporting to the Director of Commercial, this role focuses on the Tasmanian market and presents a great opportunity for career progression and expansion of knowledge in a multi-hotel environment.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and implement sales strategies and build client relationships, upholding portfolio brand standards and maximizing profitability. Key objectives include:
Plan and execute sales initiatives to meet targets and exceed clients' needs.
Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to achieve overall business objectives.
Liaise with the Accor National Sales team to access key accounts and maximize sales opportunities.
Lead and guide team members to succeed in setting goals.

A results-driven mindset with experience in setting and meeting sales KPIs.
Proven proactive sales experience in a hotel or related tourism industry.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Understanding of digital marketing for the hotel industry and ability to take on occasional projects.
